Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to replace Richarlison in the upcoming 2025 windows as the Brazilian forward’s injury history continues to frustrate the chiefs at White Hart Lane. And in turn of events, a recent video surfaced that interestingly rejuvenated the Lilywhites links with Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo following a compelling interaction with a Spurs supporter.

The 25-year-old may have hinted at a Tottenham transfer during interaction with fans in Brentford’s pre-season exhibition against AFC Wimbledon in July, which shows the Cameroonian international respond with a smile followed by a complementary “maybe” when the supporters quizzed about a possible move to Hotspur Way.

Tottenham could make move for Brentford’s Mbeumo

Tottenham Hotspur are showing a keen interest in Inter Milan star Marcus Thuram.
Richarlison has struggled with injuries and Mbeumo can replace him at N17.

That small exchange between a supporter and the players has now sparked suggestions that a transfer could be around the corner, with the Troyes academy graduate being inclined toward a Spurs move, per Football London.

Mbeumo has been in fine form for the Bees since the departure of Ivan Toney, who was also subject to aggressive links with a move to Tottenham, albeit Daniel Levy chose to opt for Dominic Solanke over Toney. The 25-year-old has already scored six goals in seven appearances in the ongoing season, which also earned him a nomination for the Premier League’s Player of the Month recognition.

The Cameroonian has expressed openness to moving across the English top tier, with Arsenal being among the clubs interested in landing his signatures. However, his comments from the video surface show that a possible move to Tottenham might be on the cards.

Spurs have also been linked with the likes of Lille’s centre-forward Jonathan David as possible under study for Dominic Solanke.
