Tottenham Hotspur have ample of talents in their ranks at Hotspur Way as Daniel Levy looks to build a pipeline that can continually influx talents from the academy to the first team. And we have seen a fair share of talents coming through at White Hart Lane off late. As the Lilywhites faithful get familiar with them, the chiefs at N17 are already looking at the next lot of players that could make an impact in senior football.
And among the plethora of upcoming stars, the North Londoners have a gem in Lucá Williams-Barnett, who has been attributed with extreme talent. The Luton-born teenager is a midfielder by trade and has already been making a name for himself in Under-18 Premier League fixtures for the ongoing season. He has already netted six goals and laid through a couple of assists in six games in the aforementioned league.
Williams-Barnett impressing for Tottenham’s Under-18s
And looking at his performances, John Wenham, the owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose, has regarded the 16-year-old as a ‘standout star’ of the Under-18 PL as he expresses his astonishment over the numbers that he has been putting in off late.
In an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, Wenham said:

“Williams-Barnett is really good. He is just scoring a ridiculous number of goals, and he has a lot of assists this season too. You have to think as well, he is still a schoolboy player. He’s not even an official Under-18s player, he’s technically still an Under-16s player yet he is the standout star in the division. Considering he also isn’t a striker, and he is putting up those numbers, that is crazy.”
Despite his highly attractive numbers, it is easy to forget that Lucá Williams-Barnett is still only sixteen (16), and the Lilywhites fans need not get carried away with pushing him for an opportunity in Ange Postecoglou’s first team. It is important to maintain his development at the moment, and when an opportunity arises, he can be given a look in, something that the Greek-born coach did brilliantly with Moore.
