Tottenham honcho Daniel Levy keeps 'huge fee' aside to bring in a marquee player in the winter transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur have a plethora of talents in their ranks at Hotspur Way, and Daniel Levy has been actively looking to compound on recruiting more highly acclaimed players at White Hart Lane as the chiefs at Hotspur Way look to bring in some talented young starlets who can make a longstanding impact at N17 in the long term, and recently they brought in Under-15 centre-back Oscar Sandiford.

The Lilywhites recently completed a move for Oscar Sandiford from Crystal Palace after agreeing to compensation for the defender with his past employers and going through all five stages of FA’s process to agree on a fair reparation.

And John Wenham, owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose, claims that the North Londoners beat competition from multiple clubs to land his signatures. Speaking in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, the podcast host said:

“We beat off a lot of competition to get this deal over the line. The club had to go through the FA’s five-stage process to get that verified and had to pay a compensation figure to Palace as well.”

“He seems to be an exciting centre-back for the future and joins a talented group of young centre-backs already in North London. Therefore, Tottenham are looking strong in that area.”

Ange Postecoglou has shown that he is not afraid to give young players a run into the senior side if they prove their credentials, and while the arrival of Oscar Sandiford wouldn’t affect his current chain of thoughts in any manner, in the next few years he could be knocking on the head coach’s door for a probable opportunity if he continues to develop at his current pace.

With Luka Vušković coming in as well, Spurs have got decent bits of defenders among their ranks.
