Tottenham Hotspur returned to winning ways against ten men West Ham as Ange Postecoglou put the Brighton woes behind after a thunderous performance against the Hammers at White Hart Lane in an early kickoff on Saturday.
While the Lilywhites gained all three points and ample confidence from the performance, it was the return of skipper Heung Min Son that will serve as a massive boost in the upcoming games.
The South Korean was on the sidelines since picking up a thigh problem in the North Londoners Europa League fixture against Qarabag, and the Lilywhites felt the absence of their captain over his spell on the sidelines, especially against Brighton, where they were on the receiving end of a memorable comeback.
Son impact crucial for Spurs
But we are past that now, and as Son returns, Tottenham return to winning ways as they beat West Ham with a 4-1 scoreline. And former Chelsea goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has heaped praise on the South Korean ace, claiming that the Lilywhites are the best version of themselves when the 32-year-old is on the pitch.

The former Australian international writing via. BBC said:
“It is hugely important that Son is back fit; he is showing the importance of being in the Tottenham side. Spurs perform best when he’s in the side.”
Son scored Spurs fourth on the hour mark and could have nearly had another just minutes later when the ball went out wide after hitting the inner post.
For Tottenham, having the 32-year-old back is a big boost, and now they will look to build on the win as they prepare for AZ Alkmaar.
