Tottenham are open to selling Pedro Porro at the right price amid Real Madrid interest
There has been a lot of speculation surrounding the future of Pedro Porro at Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks.
The five-cap Spain international has been the subject of interest from European champions Real Madrid. Reports linking Real Madrid with right-backs across Europe have emerged ever since Dani Carvajal was sidelined for the rest of the campaign after sustaining an ACL injury.
Pedro Porro has emerged as a target for Los Blancos, and he has not done enough to quash those rumours away. During the recently concluded international break, the Tottenham star acknowledged he is “proud” of being linked with Real Madrid.
Now, according to an exclusive report from GIVEMESPORT, Tottenham could sell Porro for the right price to Real Madrid next year. Having signed the right-back in a £39million deal from Sporting CP in 2023, the Lilywhites are planning to make a massive profit on him.

The 25-year-old has established himself as one of the best right-backs in the Premier League in the last 15-18 months. The Spaniard has been a mainstay at the back in Ange Postecoglou’s side since the start of last season, providing creativity, versatility, energy and flair as well as defensive solidity in abundance.
Porro’s consistent performances in Tottenham colours since last year has seen his stock rise significantly. The North Londoners are wary of Real’s interest and the opportunity his possible sale could present in front of them. They may have been planning to the right-back down to a new contract in the New Year but deep down the club’s chiefs know that it would be difficult to keep hold of him if the La Liga champions intensify their interest.
The aforementioned report adds the club’s insiders feel a big profit from Porro’s sale will represent a smart move. We know our chairman Daniel Levy is a tough negotiator and will not allow the £85k-per-week contract defensive ace to leave on the cheap. He would undoubtedly push to squeeze as much money as possible and seemingly wants upwards of £60m for the former Girona man.
The Spanish defender’s importance to Big Ange’s side is likely to rule out a January transfer, but Madrid’s plans of signing a long-term replacement for the injured Carvajal have already started taking shape.

it will be in our club’s best interests to be open to Porro’s departure and, irrespective of what happens on that front, target a new right-back in the January transfer window.
