Ukrainian midfielder tagged at €65m as Spurs target linked with Arsenal & City

Tottenham honcho Daniel Levy keeps 'huge fee' aside to bring in a marquee player in the winter transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur have been subject to intensive links with a move to sign highly regarded Ukrainian midfielder Georgiy Sudakov.

The Lilywhites enjoyed a magnificent summer transfer window where Daniel Levy not only got his incomings right but also ensured that the outgoings were also adhered to as they got rid of the surplus at Hotspur Way. While signing an attacking midfielder as an understudy or a possible competition to James Maddison was on the agenda, nothing amounted to that end, and the club will look to meet those in the upcoming transfer intervals for 2025.

Spurs face competition for Ukrainian midfielder

Will Sudakov join Tottenham next season?

Spurs are expected to go back in for the Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder in the upcoming windows; however, this time around the competition is expected to generate more interest, with the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Chelsea interested in securing the talented midfielder.

Football Insider in a report earlier this week claimed that Daniel Levy & Co. are doing their ‘due diligence’ on the 22-year-old ahead of the upcoming winter transfer window.

Can Tottenham afford Sudakov?

And as the race to his signatures boils down, his current employers are looking at a potential €65m (£54m) to part ways with Georgiy Sudakov per CaughtOffSide.

For Tottenham, spending such hefty money would mean he would not only come in with an aim to take over from James Maddison in the long term but also change the dynamic of the Lilywhites attack. However, the question remains whether Levy would spend such money on the Ukrainian in the winter window.
