Tottenham defender decides on his exit from the club

Tottenham Hotspurs defender Radu Dragusin has reportedly made a decision on his rumored exit from the club.

One of Tottenham’s notable defenders has decided upon his reported exit from the English giants in the forthcoming winter transfer window.

The reason behind this saga is the lesser amount of game time that he has been allotted till now by the Spurs’ manager Ange Postecoglu. It is worth noting that the Romanian International, who joined the North Londoners in January, has only started one game in the ongoing season of English football.

Though Italian club Napoli is keeping a careful eye on his status, the 22-year-old is focused on Tottenham and will not seek a halfway point leave even if he keeps being excluded from the team, according to .

Dragusin makes a call on Tottenham’s exit

As per a report by the Mirror, defender Radu Dragusin is likely to remain at Tottenham Hotspurs and will not leave in winter, even if he keeps getting a small amount of game time. He has only got to make four appearances so far this season out of which two came in the European competitions.

While the duo of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven remains Postecoglou’s chosen combo, there is hope that Dragusin will get a fair amount of game time further as a large number of games are yet to come. According to sources close to the player, the 22-year-old is currently fully focused on producing at his best on the pitch to secure a starting spot.

Considering Dragusin’s stellar performance for his national side during the recent international break which includes a goal in Romania’s 2-0 victory over Cyprus, chances are high that the young baller is likely to break into the starting XI of the Lilywhites very soon.

Delving deep into Tottenham’s defending lineup, their abandoned left-back Sergio Reguilon was unable to secure an exit from the English club in this year’s summer transfer window, but he will surely try to find a new destination for himself in winter after failing to make a way into the manager’s plans.

As Spurs now gear up to host AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League clash on October 25, it will be a matter of excitement to see whether Dragusin will get the chance to start off the game for his current employers or not.
