Tottenham Hotspur have been enjoying some magnificent business off late, with the last summer transfer window being one where Daniel Levy not only signed some highly regarded players but also ensured that the surplus at White Hart Lane is cleared off to make way for new players.
There has been a change in transfer strategy at Hotspur Way where the North Londoners have prioritised signing highly regarded players when they are young and have the potential to develop into big game players as they nurture them at Hotspur Way. This shift in focus shows the forward-thinking approach that Levy has introduced at N17, which emphasises not just an immediate impact but also long-term growth.
Tottenham face competition from Villa for Zenon
And in line with the newly adapted policy, the Lilywhites have been subject to links with Argentine sensation Kevin Zenon. The 23-year-old has been subject to links with the likes of Newcastle United, Brighton & Hove Albion, Lyon, FC Porto, and Napoli. However, according to a recent report by Argentine outlet El Crack Deportivo, Premier League side Aston Villa have also registered interest in Zenon, with World Cup winner Emiliano Martinez pushing for the Boca ace to make a move to The Villa Park.
For Tottenham, with the competitions rising, they need to start laying groundwork if the North Londoners are serious about the prospect of recruiting the 23-year-old.
