Tottenham Hotspur defender Radu Dragusin has been subject to links with a move away from North London as the Romanian grows frustrated for his role or lack of role (in a sense) at White Hart Lane. The 22-year-old joined the Lilywhites in a highly anticipated move to the Premier League heavyweights; however, the transfer hasn’t materialised into the headlines it captured yet.
Spurs defender linked with Juventus Move
The centre-back has played as a second fiddle to Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven, with an in-road hard to come by given how integral the aforementioned duo are for Ange Postecoglou’s side. And looking to take advantage of his situation at Hotspur Way, Italian giants Juventus are looking at possibilities to sign Radu Dragusin in the upcoming winter transfer window, according to Gazzetta dello Sport (via. Tottenham News).
The Italian outlet insists that Ligue 1 ace Milan Skriniar is the preferred option for Thiago Motta’s side, and Spurs defender Dragusin remains on Juve’s radar as a viable alternative should they fail to secure the former Inter Milan defender’s services.
Will Radu Dragusin leave Spurs?
Dragusin is a curious case for the North Londoners, given how he has been linked with a move away; however, recently his agent was quoted insisting that his client wants to fight for his place at N17 (h/t Calcio Napoli 24), and despite so, Juventus haven’t given up on the possibilities to secure his signatures.
Dragusin does have an in-road to Ange Postecoglou’s eleven, with Micky van de Ven suffering from a hamstring injury in the Spurs midweek clash against Manchester City, and this could just be his opportunity to prove his credentials donning the Liywhites badge.
