Serie A trio ready to offer £85,000pw Tottenham star an escape route.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Radu Dragusin has been subject to links with a move away from White Hart Lane owing to a lack of minutes under his belt in North London. The Romanian centre back moved to Premier League heavyweights from Genoa in a highly touted transfer as the Lilywhites beat Bayern Munich to his signatures at the commencement of the ongoing calendar year.

With game time difficult to come by, the Romanian international has been looking for a move away from N17 as he looks to build minutes and continue his development. And multiple Italian clubs have been looking to take advantage of the situation as they look to pry away his signatures from an English top-tier side in the upcoming winter transfer window.

Juventus eyeing loan move for Spurs’ Dragusin

Tottenham Hotspurs defender Radu Dragusin has reportedly made a decision on his rumored exit from the club.
Tottenham Hotspurs defender Radu Dragusin has been linked with a move away from N17.

Thiago Motta’s Juventus are one of the sides that are interested in the 22-year-old defender, with the new edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness) replaying the Serie A giants interest in landing the Romanian centre-back on loan. The report states how they are looking to land the player to fill in for Gleison Bremer, who is due to miss the rest of the campaign with an injury.

The report also stated how Paris Saint-Germain defender Milan Skriniar is the first choice for Thiago Motta & Co.

However, journalist Pierfrancesco Vecchiotti now insists that the Spurs player is on top of Juve’s list and insists that the North Londoners would be open to sanctioning a possible loan transfer for the 22-year-old.

Vecchiotti, speaking to TuttoSport, said:

“The names studied by Giuntoli are many and among these, that of Radu Dragusin stands out.

“The Romanian defender seems to be the most suitable solution because he already knows the Juventus environment well, having grown up with the next-gen, and more generally knows the Italian championship.

“Dragusin, moreover, is finding very little space with Tottenham and this could lead Spurs to think about a loan, a solution this last one very welcome to Juventus.

“The Bianconeri would find themselves with a defender young, strong, ready because he knows the environment and is skilled in marking even in open field situations, a component that should not be underestimated, given the game and tactical system of Tiago Motta, who would thus find himself with an important additional solution, among other things at zero cost.”

It is to be seen if Juventus are willing to convert this paper talk into a conversation over the table with Daniel Levy, and if so, will the American businessman accept any move for Radu Dragusin?
