Tottenham send officials to watch Club Brugge star Andreas Skov Olsen in action against Aston Villa

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a potential move for Club Brugge star Andreas Skov Olsen as Daniel Levy looks to strengthen Ange Postecoglou’s attacking ranks.

Spurs broke their club transfer record to sign striker Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth in the summer, while also bringing in Wilson Odobert from Burnley. Both Solanke and Odobert have improved the club’s options in attack, although the latter’s action on the pitch has been limited due to injury.

The Lilywhites are planning to use the January window to bring in more attacking talent, perhaps with one eye on a long-term successor for skipper Son Heung-min.

According to an exclusive report from GIVEMESPORT, Tottenham Hotspur had officials present to scout Club Brugge star Andreas Skov Olsen in action against Aston Villa in the Champions League last week. Representatives from Sevilla and AC Milan among other clubs were also in attendance to watch the Dane.

Andreas Skov Olsen, who has been on Tottenham’s radar for some time now, played 72 minutes as Club Brugge defeated Aston Villa 1-0 in Belgium, thanks to Tyrone Mings conceding one of the most bizarre penalties in the Champions League’s history which was expertly converted by Hans Vanaken. It wasn’t the most impactful display but the 24-year-old has done enough throughout the season to catch the eye of some of Europe’s elite clubs.

Having joined Club Brugge from Bologna in January 2022, Skov Olsen has been one of their standout performers in recent years and deserves to secure a big move in 2025. The aforementioned report adds the Denmark international’s best shot at playing in the Premier League is with Tottenham, who are scouting players aged 20-25 to fortify their squad.

Tottenham receive massive boost as 31-year-old superstar close to agreeing new deal
Son Heung-min is 32 and past his best at Spurs.

The Hillerod-born talent fits that age profile and could be a sensational acquisition at N17. Son Heung-min is 32 and coming to the end of his contract. The South Korean has done an incredible job at Spurs but he cannot continue delivering the goods at the top level forever, so the Lilywhites require a long-term replacement for Son when he moves on.

Skov Olsen could be that player, adding flair, creativity, dynamism and goals to Ange Postecoglou’s side. At 24, he is not someone who is approaching the peak years, so Big Ange can develop him further and unlock his true potential down the line.

All in all, if Daniel Levy and Johan Lange feel the Scandinavian ace is the right fit in Big Ange’s system, they must not hesitate to table a formal offer to Club Brugge in January.
