Tottenham have been handed a major injury boost ahead of the huge clash with Manchester City on Monday. Dele Alli is back from his injury and has returned to training, the club’s official website confirmed.
The Englishman is now available after being sidelined due to a hamstring injury. He hasn’t featured since memorably scoring the winning penalty against Watford on September 26. It’s a massive boost for Pochettino considering how we’ve fared without Alli in recent times.
The club also confirmed that Jan Vertonghen (out with hamstring injury) and Danny Rose (out with groin injury) are both progressing well with their rehabilitation.
The game against City is such an important one given how the table looks right now. A win would really be a big statement from our boys.
Nevertheless, it wouldn’t be easy to get one over the defending champions. They’re playing some excellent football right now and we have to be on top of our game to beat them.

Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen will play a crucial role for us and if Alli can make a sensational return from his injury, we are sure to gain something out of this game.
We are just a couple of points behind the league leaders and a win here would be massive.
