Tottenham target Riccardo Sottil in next summer window
Calciomercato claims that Tottenham have made Riccardo Sottil their top target for the next summer window.
The 20-year-old is one of the best players in the Fiorentina side and also has played for the Italy U21 team. Sottil mostly plays as a right-winger and spent his formative years at Torino and Genoa. The Italian joined Fiorentina in 2016 and spent a year on loan at Pescara.
The report adds that Tottenham are scouting the 20-year-old but Fiorentina do not want to lose the talented Italian.
Tottenham need another quality winger?
Sottil is already a regular for Fiorentina this season and has started three games in all competitions for the side.
Spurs could do with more attackers, especially wide players, however, we have Jack Clarke out on loan at Leeds United.
The winger joined Spurs in the summer but has found minutes hard to come by under Marcelo Bielsa this season.
Sottil is still a little raw and needs to be under the right manager to develop further. Mauricio Pochettino is excellent in working with young players and it will be interesting to see if we make a move for the Italian in the summer.
