Spurs weigh up Ki bid

Tottenham are reportedly set to offer £8m for Celtic midfielder Ki Sung-Yeung.

The South Korean international has become an integral member of Neil Lennon’s starting XI with his performances attracting interest from south of the border.

Manager Harry Redknapp is said to be a fan of the 22-year-old as is keen to bring him to White Hart Lane before the close of the transfer window.

Celtic would be loathe to losing one of their star players but an offer of £8m upwards my be enough to tempt them into selling.

Reports that he is to be bought in as a replacement for Luka Modric have proven false with Redknapp keen to bring the former FC Seoul player to Spurs regardless of the Modric saga.
