Tottenham are ready to take on Dnipro in the Europa League, a competition that Spurs boss Tim Sherwood has come out and said that he wants to win, and the teams have been named. Here is how the Londoners line up.
In a side with many changes, Brad Freidel comes in to replace Hugo Lloris between the sticks. On the right of defence is Kyle Naughton, who the Spurs fans will be expecting a solid game from, and on the left is Danny Rose.
In the centre of defence is Michael Dawson and Jan Vertonghen, as expected, in what looks to be a 4-3-3 formation.
In the midfield trio Sherwood has gone for a physical bunch in the shape of Bentaleb, Etienne Capoue and Brazilian Paulinho, who I think will overpower the Dnipro central midifelders.
In the wide areas it is Andros Townsend, who is still searching for the form that he showed us in the early stages of the season, and Nacer Chadli, who scored his first goal for the club recently. The two wingers will be supporting Roberto Soldado, while the bench contains a number of youngsters.
Archer, Fryers, Velikovic, Eriksen, McEvoy, Onomah and Kane are the names on the bench.
