Brilliant Dele Alli – The Best And The Worst Rated Tottenham Players From Their 3-0 Win Against Manchester United

published :

Deli Alli

Tottenham kept up the pressure on Leicester with a win over Manchester United. Though Tottenham did have the better chances, they needed the 70th minute before they could score.

Once the gates opened with Dele Alli’s opener, United could not plug the gap and further goals from Toby Alderweireld and Erik Lamela ensured that the side from London got the three points and at least moved close to the Champions League next season.

Tottenham were brilliant and we look back at the game and rate the player performances for Spurs.

Hugo Lloris – 7/10

The French goalkeeper didn’t really have a lot to do in the game but kept a clean sheet and also repelled a couple of United attacks.

Kyle Walker – 7/10

The English defender really did well to contain Anthony Martial and had a pretty good game in defence.

Toby Alderweireld – 7/10

Alderweireld scored the second goal of the game and overall had a pretty good game for Spurs as he dealt with Manchester United attacks rather easily.

Jan Vertonghen – 7/10

A sight for sore eyes, Vertonghen came back into the side after a long time out and looked really comfortable in defence.

Danny Rose – 7/10

Another defender who did really well, Rose was running up and down the left flank a lot and even nullified Mata’s threat.

Eric Dier – 8/10

The English midfielder did really well and helped his side control the centre of the park. A great display by the Englishman.

Mousa Dembele – 6/10

Dembele didn’t really have to do a lot against a rather poor Manchester United midfield but the Belgian was filled with energy and he displayed that in abundance tonight.

Christian Eriksen – 7/10

Christian Eriksen didn’t have the greatest first half of the game but it was his pass which helped Dele Alli find the back of the next which set Spurs on their way for the win.

Dele Alli – 8/10

Another brilliant display by the young English forward. His goal set Tottenham on their way to an important win and who knows, if things go their way, they could end up winning the league if Leicester do slip up.

Erik Lamela – 7/10

Lamela might have scored in the first half but he redeemed himself with a great goal in the second half for the side.

Harry Kane – 6/10

Alright so he might not have scored this time around but he was great for the side and well did a lot of running to keep United under pressure.
