Injury Blow: Tottenham Face Issues As Three Key Players Could Be Out Against Hull City

The last game of the season basically turns out to be 90 minutes to fight the last battle to complete a goal set at the start of the season. Fortunately, Tottenham and Hull City don’t really have much to play for, especially since the Tigers have been relegated from the Premier League.

Spurs might have had a brilliant season this time around and can start thinking of next season but for the game against Hull, there will be a number of players who miss out for the side.

We might have hoped for a more or less unchanged side from the last game but it seems that Hugo Lloris, Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier could miss the tie as confirmed by the club’s official Tweet above.

While Lloris would have wanted to end the season with a clean sheet, it doesn’t really make a lot of difference as he already lost the battle for the Golden Glove to Thibaut Courtois of Chelsea.

The interesting bit is regarding the right-back situation as both Trippier and Walker are almost certain to not feature. This could turn out to be Walker’s final game for Tottenham, should he somehow recover and play as the Englishman has been linked with a move to either of the Manchester clubs in the summer.

It could also turn out to be a blessing in disguise as Mauricio Pochettino can try his luck with some of the youngsters in the team and give them valuable Premier League minutes.

We did have a lot to cheer about this campaign and as the curtains fall, Poch should be looking at making the team stronger for the campaign ahead. Another Champions League campaign waits ahead of us and after our debacle this time around, we should be looking at better performances in that competition.
