Serie A Side Is In Talks With Tottenham Attacker To Complete A Potential Deal Soon – Player Ready To Move

Tottenham Hotspur outcast Georges-Kevin N’Koudou is in talks with Serie A side Hellas Verona for a possible loan deal this summer, according to reports from Sky Italia (via talkSPORT).

The French attacker was signed 12 months ago from Ligue1 side Marseille but struggled to make any impact after arriving. He is not in the plans of manager Mauricio Pochettino and his future at White Hart Lane remains uncertain.

As such, the winger is looking to make a move out of the club in pursuit of first-team opportunities and according to Sky Italia (via talkSPORT) Hellas Verona are looking to sign him.

Having signed for the club on a five-year deal in August 2016, N’Koudou has made just six appearances for the Lilywhites in the Premier League and just 14 overall.

The 22-year-old made his name as one of the best young wingers in the continent during his time at Marseille but after a poor season, he is now looking to revive his career.

Verona want the player on a season-long loan and are working hard to put an agreement in place. It is not sure yet if the player is open for the move, especially as the club has just won promotion back to Serie A last season.

An opportunity to play regular football is on the cards though, and that should sway N’Koudou’s mind. The youngster has had a torrid time at Tottenham and earned the ire of the fans earlier in the summer. He was spotted wearing a Chelsea shirt in public, posing for a selfie at his local five-a-side center, leading to a barrage of criticism from the fans.

His on-field performances haven’t been anything to write about either, as he failed to catch Pochettino’s attention. N’Koudou now has a chance to revive his career and it would be interesting to see if he grabs it.

Do you think Georges-Kevin N’Koudou will have a better chance at succeeding in the Serie A than the Premier League?
