Vincent Janssen could be close to returning to action for his club Fenerbahce. The Dutch striker shared an Instagram image.
We all know that Janssen tried his level best while at Tottenham last season but he was sent away on loan to the Turkish giants in hopes of finding some form.
The 23-year-old did score a couple of goals in the league after signing for the club but the goals have dried up like normal. Janssen hasn’t scored for them since September but his season has been curtailed due to an injury.
The 23-year-old hasn’t played for the side since December but his recent post suggests he could be back in action soon for the side.
Janssen didn’t find a place in the Tottenham side this season and was sent out on loan but it will be interesting to see what happens to the former AZ Alkmaar man once his loan spell ends.
Spurs currently have Fernando Llorente as the back-up for Harry Kane but the Spaniard has not really set the scoring sheets on fire since his move from Swansea.
Janssen might not have scored a lot of goals for the club during his spell in London but he always gave it his all and hopefully, he will still have a chance of showing what he can do.
For now, let’s hope that Janssen scores some goals for Fenerbahce as he looks to finish the season on a high.
