Tottenham are expecting a host of top clubs to be looking to sign Kieran Trippier after the right-back had a wonderful World Cup with England, according to the Sun.
The report even claims that Trippier could be worth £50m after his impressive displays in Russia. The 27-year-old had only signed a new deal with us last year and Tottenham would do everything they can to keep hold of the player.
Madrid have been looking to add more quality to their side and have seen their talisman Cristiano Ronaldo leave the club and join Juventus.
While it would not come as surprising news that Trippier’s stock has risen, thanks to his excellent displays in the World Cup, we simply cannot be looking to sell him at the moment.
The former Burnley man was possibly the best player for England in the tournament and has seen his stock rise at the club ever since Kyle Walker left for Manchester City.
Trippier still has a lot to give us and will be an important player for Mauricio Pochettino as we look to win some trophies under the Argentine.

The 27-year-old could be the surprise player for us and unless we get a really mind-boggling offer for the Englishman, we should just keep hold of him and reject any offers that come in.
