Tottenham are looking to sell a number of players and are hoping to start that this week by letting Vincent Janssen leave the side, according to the Evening Standard.

Janssen is not even a part of the pre-season squad at the US and another striker that could be on his way out of the club is Fernando Llorente, even though the former Swansea man has travelled with the team to North America.

Tottenham have not brought in any players yet but they are looking to further trim down the squad with Mousa Dembele, Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose all on the chopping block.

The trio could be sold should Spurs get the right price. A couple of other players are also not needed at Tottenham, with Georges-Kevin N’Koudou and Marcus Edwards joining the list of transfers.

Most of the players on the list have barely made an impact, though we must try to keep hold of Alderweireld as he is a quality player.

Dembele has had his issues with the physical nature of the Premier League and his injuries. Rose saw his place taken by Ben Davies last season.

Maybe selling the players will free up some funds before we can buy some players but the lack of transfer activity is a major concern for most fans, with only a few weeks to go before the Premier League begins.

Spurs have a tough task of repeating their performances from the past two years and if we can bring in some quality players, we might just be able to achieve that and much more.
