Tottenham are willing to listen to offers for Danny Rose, Toby Alderweireld and Mousa Dembele, according to Sky Sports.
While we have not signed anyone this summer, it seems like we are willing to let go of the trio in the remaining days of the current transfer window.
The three players have had their links with other clubs as Alderweireld has been a target for Manchester United.
Dembele too was interested in a move to China but now that their window has closed, he cannot move there. He has attracted interest from Italy as well and it would make sense for us to sell the Belgian midfielder.
Rose spoke about the club’s wage structure last summer but has remained at the club after apologising for his comments. The Englishman’s place was then taken up by Ben Davies in the Tottenham side.
The trio might find it hard to get regular playing time at Tottenham but losing them without bringing in quality replacements would be a folly.
Alderweireld is one of the best defenders in the league and we do have the option of extending his contract for another year. Should we take up this option, the Belgian would be available next summer for a fee of £25m due to a release clause in his contract.
Dembele and Rose have had their issues with injuries and losing them would not hurt us as much as losing Alderweireld.

Daniel Levy usually conducts his business in the final days of the transfer window. It is risky to leave our transfers this late in the window but the fans will want a flurry of activity at the club before the deadline.
