Tottenham winning 1-0 against Crystal Palace got a first-time goal scorer for the club in Juan Foyth.
The Argentine had a great game at Selhurst Park after a tough outing against Wolverhampton Wanderers and was also the man-of-the-match on Saturday.
The youngster was called-up by the national team for the international break, and the Premier League shared a few important stats coming from our win.
Foyth’s goal was the 1,500th we had scored in the Premier League. Tottenham also became the fifth club to achieve this with Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal also on the list.
The Argentine became the 146th Tottenham player to score in the Premier League, which is the highest. The second best in that list is West Ham United with 144 scorers in the Premier League.
There was another record which we created in the win over Palace. The 1-0 result was the fifth time in a row we had defeated the same side.
The previous best was the same scoreline being recorded between two clubs for four games. Tottenham held that record as we beat Manchester City four times in a row by a scoreline of 2-1, while Middlesbrough drew with Nottingham Forest 1-1 four consecutive times.

Tottenham’s next game is against Chelsea after the international break, and hopefully, we will beat the Blues and climb over them in the league table.
