Christian Eriksen’s starts have been limited at Tottenham due to an abdominal injury this season, however, the Dane was in action for his national side during the international break.
The Tottenham star helped Denmark beat Wales 2-1, and cost the Dragons their chance of topping their League B group in a feisty encounter.
Eriksen helped with the first goal of the game scored by Nicolai Jorgensen, and Denmark will be confident of their next showing, which is a home clash against the Republic of Ireland.
The former Ajax star is one of the most creative players we have in the team and is one of the best in the Premier League.
The win ensured that Denmark would remain on top of their group, and many Tottenham fans wanted the club to extend the player’s deal by offering a new contract.

Hopefully Eriksen maintains his great form for Denmark and brings this back with him for the Chelsea game.
He’s been good for us this season without being great – we could do with him back in top nick. #THFC #COYS #Spurs #Tottenham
