Calciomercato claims Juventus have entered the race to sign Tottenham target Tanguy Ndombele. The 21-year-old Frenchman has been excellent for Lyon this season and has attracted attention from many clubs.
The report adds that Manchester City and Barcelona are keeping tabs on the midfielder, who has been compared to Chelsea star N’Golo Kante.
Ndombele would not come on the cheap as the Lyon president Jean Michel Aulas already rejected a bid of €35million (h/t Calciomercato) for the midfielder. However, the price tag for the rising star could be around €45-50million (h/t Calciomercato).
Ndombele would be an excellent signing for Tottenham given that some of our best players in midfield are injured or nearing 30.
Mousa Dembele is out with an ankle injury while Victor Wanyama’s season has been plagued by injuries. Moussa Sissoko has been excellent for Spurs this season, however, he is already 29.
Getting the player for around €50million would not be a bad deal given the potential Ndombele has, but it would be difficult getting into a bidding war with the other clubs linked with the star.
Barcelona and Manchester City can throw around money for fun, and it will be interesting to see what the player’s next step could be.

Lyon are known to be tough negotiators for their players, and Aulas will ensure they get top dollar for the midfielder.
