Eric Dier scored our equaliser against Arsenal in the North London derby. Although the game ended 4-2 in the favour of the Gunners, the Englishman had time to celebrate an important goal as we were in the ascendency in the first half.
Arsenal had taken the lead via Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before Dier and Harry Kane scored for us. The defensive midfielder celebrated by “shushing” the Arsenal fans, and things got a little heated, to say the least.
It has been a pulsating first half at The Emirates…

Mauricio Pochettino had to run to the players to calm things down, and Dier certainly got a few players rattled as he seems to tell the Arsenal players to go and sit down.
Tottenham didn’t get the win, but the celebration and goal from our midfielder certainly lit up the Emirates.
Some fans were happy about the passion showed by the Tottenham players and supported the celebrations on Twitter.
Dier telling Ramsey to sit back on the bench 🤦🏽♂️😂

Good to see a bit of passion with Ramsey and Dier. Don’t see it much these days.

The loss must hurt for all supporting Tottenham as we were in the lead and could have done a little better in the second half to kill the game.
This is another lesson for the young team that Mauricio Pochettino has built, and there is not a lot of time to think about the loss as we play Southampton on Wednesday.
