Adrien Rabiot has ended talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a new deal at the club, according to RMC Sport (h/t Sun).
The report adds that Tottenham have kept an eye on the French midfielder and Arsenal are also interested in the 23-year-old. Rabiot is a free agent at the end of the season and foreign clubs can negotiate with him in the January window.
The midfielder got just five minutes in PSG’s win over Liverpool in the Champions League and did not feature for the side in the weekend game against Bordeaux.
The report adds that PSG asked the player to make up his mind by the end of the week, and the player responded by saying there was no point in discussing a new deal. The club now have a decision to make as they could sell him for a cut-price in January or let him go for free at the end of the campaign.
Although Tottenham have been in the race for Rabiot, Arsenal coming into the fray could mean trouble for us. Unai Emery knows a lot about the Frenchman due to his spell in Paris, and signing him on a free would be tantalising for any top level club.
The 23-year-old has the potential to get better under the right manager, and we know how well Mauricio Pochettino works with players.

The 4-2 loss against Arsenal might have hurt but if we can beat them to the signing of Rabiot, it might count as a bit of a win.
