Vincent Janssen has emerged as an option for Serie A giants AC Milan, according to Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Mirror).
The Dutch striker hasn’t played a single minute for Tottenham this season after returning from his loan spell at Fenerbahce.
The 24-year-old underwent surgery on a foot injury and is recuperating at the club. The report adds that Milan are looking for a striker after failing to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a short-term deal.
Janssen isn’t the only player on their list as the Serie A giants are also keeping tabs on Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge of Liverpool (h/t Mirror).
The Dutch striker has had his struggles since joining Tottenham and scored just six goals from 36 appearances in his first season under Mauricio Pochettino.
Janssen was shipped off to Fenerbahce where he scored five goals from 17 games but picked up an injury which curtailed his season.
It would be great if some club can take the Dutch striker off our hands and even a loan move would be a decent deal for all parties involved.
Gennaro Gattuso is also tracking a trio of Chelsea players, as per the report, and hopefully, Janssen gets a right move to resurrect his career.

The 24-year-old is a decent striker, it’s just this move to Spurs that hasn’t worked out for him at all.
