Christian Eriksen Tottenham

Tottenham want to avenge their defeat at the hands of Arsenal from earlier in the season. The two North London sides meet for a Carabao Cup quarter-final clash at the Emirates and both teams have their injury issues.

Spurs played with Ben Davies in the heart of the defence after Jan Vertonghen picked up a problem, and Eric Dier is also ruled out after having his appendix removed recently.

This is a great chance for us to win a trophy, and here is our predicted line-up to face the Gunners.

Predicted Tottenham XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Mauricio Pochettino

Paulo Gazzaniga (GK)

Hugo Lloris could get a break with Paulo Gazzaniga starting in between the sticks. The Argentine has been great for us this season, and hopefully, he keeps a clean sheet.

Kyle Walker-Peters (RB)

The youngster was decent in our 1-1 draw against Barcelona, and he should return to the side in place of Kieran Trippier.

Toby Alderweireld (CB)

The Belgian is certainly being overworked as he seems to be playing every game for us but we need his quality at the back against the Gunners.

Ben Davies (CB)

The Welshman was played in the centre of the defence against Burnley and should continue in this role on Wednesday.

Danny Rose (LB)

It is great that we have Rose back to fitness, and the Englishman has to have a great game in midweek if we are to beat Arsenal.

Moussa Sissoko (CM)

Sissoko has been fantastic for us in recent weeks, and the Frenchman will need to be at his best on Wednesday.

Tottenham players training

Harry Winks (CM)

The English midfielder should replace the impressive Oliver Skipp in the centre of the park.

Son Heung-min (RAM)

Son didn’t start in our win over Burnley, and the South Korean should be back in the side on Wednesday.

Christian Eriksen (CAM)

Eriksen came off the bench to score an important winner at the weekend, and we need more fireworks from the Dane in midweek.

Lucas Moura (LAM)

The Brazilian started in our win over the Clarets and we should see him against Arsenal too.

Harry Kane (ST)

Kane needs to be at his best against our rivals, and the Englishman would want to repeat his scoring antics from our last trip to the Emirates.
