Tottenham recently held a special event for 6,000 lucky supporters who visited the new stadium. The club hasn’t confirmed when the first game will be held at our new home, but we have another fantastic aerial video of our home inching closer to completion.
Some of the exterior panels are still to be put up with a couple of cranes still working overtime it seems.
The video does a great job in highlighting some of the important features/aspects of the stadium such as the sky-walk.
Tottenham’s new ground will be one of the best in the world, and the roof seems more or less complete, and we get a nice shot of the Cockerel high above the ground too.
The pitch features special artificial lighting, which we get a nice glimpse of. Hopefully, there won’t be any more delays that will push the opening day beyond the current season.
Tottenham recently added that our home game against Manchester United on 13 January would be held at Wembley.
Spurs have spent two seasons playing away at Wembley, and it is a great feat that we have become top-four regulars and are in the knockout rounds of the Champions League again.
There is a chance we could play Borussia Dortmund in our new stadium this season (h/t Telegraph), and that would give us an additional boost for the remainder of the campaign.
