Tottenham star and England captain Harry Kane was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s New Years Honours list, and the striker shared his pride and happiness regarding the honour.
Kane has been excellent for Tottenham since making his debut in 2011 and then becoming a regular from the 2013-14 season.
The Englishman has broken several records during his time under Mauricio Pochettino and seems to be getting better with age.
I’m very passionate about our country and very patriotic so to get an MBE makes me immensely proud. It has been a great year for club and country. It shows hard work pays off but I couldn’t do it without the teammates, family & friends I’ve got around me. Thank you. 🙌 #NYHonours pic.twitter.com/ek9giBw2ci

Kane is just 25, but he is already our record Premier League goalscorer and has won the Golden Boot twice. Things ramped up in the summer where he led the Three Lions to the World Cup semi-finals and won the Golden Boot in Russia too.
It is incredible how quickly the striker has progressed and there seems to be no stopping the 25-year-old. Tottenham have also made a great start to the Premier League campaign this season, and the only thing we need is a trophy under Mauricio Pochettino.
The Englishman is in the running for another Golden Boot as he fights Mohamed Salah and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to be this season’s top-scorer. The Lilywhites also have a fantastic stadium coming up and Kane can lead us to more glory there.

Kane easily is one of the best strikers in the world, and it is fantastic that we have someone like him to count on.
