Tottenham against Tranmere in FA Cup

The derbies keep coming for Tottenham as we play Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Spurs were brilliant against lower league Tranmere in the previous round as we scored seven, however, the Eagles will be tougher opposition.

The tie is to be played between 25 and 28 January, and should be a cracking game.

Tottenham beat the Eagles in the Premier League earlier in the season and this follows some other Premier League derbies in the cups.

We played West Ham in the Carabao Cup and face Chelsea over two-legs in the semi-finals of the competition.

The domestic cups could be a fantastic opportunity for Mauricio Pochettino to break his trophy duck.

Although we are playing away against the Eagles, we should start the tie as favourites given our form over the past month or so.

It could have been a tough draw for us with Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea still in the mix. The Gunners face United in their fourth round tie, and that is great for our chances of lifting the trophy.

Tottenham have been a little unlucky in the cup competitions under Pochettino, however, several Spurs fans were happy that the team wasn’t facing one of the big six.
