Lucas Moura picked up a knee injury in our 7-0 thrashing of Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup and will be assessed ahead of our huge clash against Manchester United at the weekend.
The Brazilian started the campaign in great form and scored against the Red Devils in Old Trafford but has been in and out of the side for the last month or so.
The former Paris Saint-Germain star has scored eight goals for us in all competitions with his last strike coming in our 5-0 win over Bournemouth.

That has had to do with the team hitting great form and scoring goals for fun. Tottenham hammered Everton and Bournemouth recently too and could do the same against United at Wembley.
The injury is a huge blow to our plans for the rest of the season as Son Heung-min is expected to leave after the United clash.
The South Korean will join his national side for the Asian Cup, and Moura would have been one of the players that could have replaced him in the starting XI.
There are other concerns for Tottenham as Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama are continuing their rehab, but there is some good news for us as Erik Lamela has recovered from his illness and is training with the team.
However, many fans were still worried about the side given the latest injury setback, and here are some of their reactions from Twitter.
Just what we needed, with Sonny’s inevitable departure 😭

He played on with that injury but I suspect they’re being extra careful with him as Sonny is about to go away again. Big boots to fill, early season form required from Lucas!

Has any player not been injured this season?
