Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko is expected to be out for a couple of weeks due to the groin injury he suffered in the 1-0 loss to Manchester United, according to Sky Sports.
The Frenchman wasn’t the only star injured in the loss with Harry Kane facing a couple of months out with an ankle injury.
Sissoko has been one of the stars for Spurs this season and the report adds that there were fears he would have been out for a month.
However, the report claims that the 29-year-old France international is expected to be fit for the Champions League round of 16 first leg clash against Borussia Dortmund.
Spurs have some issues regarding fit midfielders at the moment with Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama not match fit.
We also sold Mousa Dembele in the winter window and have just Harry Winks as the fit senior midfielder at the moment.
Oliver Skipp has done a decent job in the few minutes he has picked up this season, but the youngster still needs more time on the pitch to get accustomed to top flight football.
This comes as some good news for Spurs as Sissoko has done extremely well in a deeper role this season.
Getting him back against Dortmund will give us a bit of an edge but not having Kane is the biggest problem we face at the moment.

Spurs don’t have many quality options to lead the line, and hopefully, this does not come back to haunt us at the end of the season.
