Real Betis have joined the race to sign out of favour Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen, according to the Daily Mail. The report claims that the Spanish side have been trying to sign Lucas Perez of West Ham but have failed in their attempts to sign the Hammers striker.
Janssen hasn’t featured for the first-team this season and was out on loan at Fenerbahce last season. The 24-year-old is unwanted at the club, and the report claims that Spurs want around £12m for the forward.
The report adds that Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also interested in the striker and have watched the player in recent weeks.
Janssen has struggled to make an impact at Tottenham since his move from AZ Alkmaar a couple of years ago. Mauricio Pochettino has more or less shunted the striker away from the first-team, with the manager preferring to play Fernando Llorente in place of the injured Harry Kane.
Kazaiah Sterling also got a few minutes recently for Spurs, and it would be best for all parties if the Dutch striker can be sold quickly in the winter window.

It would provide Tottenham with some funds and hopefully, the forward can reignite his career elsewhere. The 24-year-old was the top scorer in the Eredivisie before he joined Spurs, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up next season.
