Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy allocated funds in the winter window to strengthen the side if Mauricio Pochettino wanted to spend, according to the Daily Mail.
The report claims that the manager went into the window wanting to buy a cover for Harry Kane and a midfielder, given the departure of Mousa Dembele.
However, Pochettino was unwilling to move for a big name and is interested in players that can be developed further like Jarrod Bowen and Jack Clarke, according to the Mail.
The report further claims that Pochettino doesn’t want too many players in the side and wants a tight-knit group.
