Jan Vertonghen is one of the best defenders in the world and he put up another quality display in the 1-0 win over Newcastle United.
The Belgian has been a rock for Tottenham since signing from Ajax, and it would be a gargantuan task to replace the centre-back.
The 31-year-old has been a regular for Spurs and notched up his 200th Premier League appearance, against the Magpies.

The Belgian was a part of the World Cup squad that finished third in the summer, and there is no doubt he will get better with more games under his belt. Vertonghen has formed a great partnership with Toby Alderweireld but has done very well as a part of a back-three.
The centre-back is versatile enough to play as a left-back too, and it is to be seen how the season goes for Spurs. We have a chance of catching Liverpool as we lie just four points behind them. The Reds have a game in hand, but we play them later in the season at Anfield.
Any chance of lifting silverware depends on us keeping clean sheets and alongside Alderweireld, we should be able to keep most attacks at bay.
The Belgian certainly ranks as one of the best signings we have made in the Premier League era, and many fans were impressed by Vertonghen’s stats.
A rock in defence and not a bad left back either. Some of those crosses were sheer class.
