Spurs transfer news: Paris Saint-Germain make contact regarding Tanguy Ndombele
L’Equipe (h/t Football.london) reports that French giants Paris Saint-Germain have made contact regarding Tottenham target Tanguy Ndombele.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been impressive for the Ligue 1 side since last season, and the report claims that PSG have “approached” Ndombele’s representatives.
The midfielder would not come on the cheap as Spurs saw a €40m bid rejected (h/t Football.london). The report adds that the French dynamo could cost €60m.
Ndombele has played 40 games in all competitions for Lyon and has even bagged a couple of appearances in the national side.
Lyon president ready to sell
Jean Michel Aulas, the Lyon president, is a tough negotiation. However, the Frenchman recently stated that he was willing to sell his prized asset to rivals PSG.
“If PSG want to buy Tanguy N’Dombélé, there is no problem.
“There is no bad blood with the PSG board. Nasser Al Khelaifi is a loyal and brilliant man who I admire.”
The midfielder is one of the best in Ligue 1 at the moment, and his manager also claimed that Ndombele could be the new Paul Pogba.
Tottenham have at least one slot in the first-team open after they sold Mousa Dembele in the winter window.
