Spurs transfer news: Ivan Perisic’s sale “inevitable” in the summer
Calciomercato (h/t Football.london) states that Croatian winger Ivan Perisic’s sale by Inter Milan is “inevitable” in the summer.
The 30-year-old was fantastic for his national side in the World Cup as he led them to the finals, however, his form for Inter has been sketchy.
The winger has just five goals and three assists for the Serie A giants this season, and the report claims that the club is set for a summer overhaul.
Luciano Spalletti is set to be replaced by former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, and the report adds that stars such as Edin Dzeko and Ivan Rakitic are being lined up in the summer.
Interest for Perisic from Spurs
The report claims that Perisic’s sale would help in the club’s summer plans and his head has been “elsewhere for months”.
Manchester United were linked with the Croatian during Jose Mourinho’s time and Football.london adds that Tottenham have been keeping an eye on the 30-year-old’s situation at Inter.
Earlier reports had suggested that Inter were looking at €35m for the winger and Spurs were willing to stump up just €25m.
Spurs should be in the market this summer after failing to sign players for two transfer windows.
There is a need to strengthen the side, who have been found wanting in recent weeks, and the team needs to get the right players on board.

Perisic has the experience that can come in handy for Spurs, however, he doesn’t have too many years left at the top of the game.
