Spurs transfer news: Barcelona interested in signing Fernando Llorente
The Spanish striker is out of a contract at Tottenham at the end of this season but has done a decent job for the club.
Llorente found the back of the net eight times this season and also assisted five goals.
Some of his best performances have come in the Champions League, with Tottenham facing Liverpool in the final on June 1.
Llorente set to leave Spurs
The Sun adds that Llorente will leave Spurs at the end of the season for another challenge. The Spanish report claims that Barcelona are looking for a striker to take the pressure off Luis Suarez and the Spurs man is seen as a possible solution.
Barca have other options on their mind, according to the report, with Divock Origi also someone they could move for. Llorente scored the third goal in the Champions League tie against Manchester City and helped turn around the tie against Ajax too.
The 34-year-old knows La Liga well and was a standout performer for Athletic Bilbao before he left, and a return home could be the best possible move for Llorente.

Spurs would have to find a replacement for Llorente in the summer as Harry Kane needs cover and it will be interesting to see who we target once the season is done.
