Spurs transfer news: Real Betis see Bourigeaud as Lo Celso replacement

Tottenham are interested in Real Betis star Giovani Lo Celso and have seen a £52m bid rejected for the Argentine (h/t Daily Star).

The attacking midfielder enjoyed a great debut season with Betis, and they want Spurs to cough up the entire £88.9m release clause for the 23-year-old (h/t Daily Star).

Lo Celso is with the Argentine national team for the Copa America, and the Daily Star claims that Betis have found his replacement.

Benjamin Bourigeaud had a stellar season with Rennes, and Betis see the Frenchman as the right player to fill Lo Celso’s boots, according to the report.

Tottenham (h/t Mirror) have been linked with the 25-year-old midfielder, while the report claims that Liverpool, Sevilla and Roma are also tracking the versatile Frenchman.

Bourigeaud can play in several positions and could be a great signing for Spurs too, however, the Daily Star claims that Mauricio Pochettino is keen on signing his countryman in the summer.
