Spurs transfer news: Real Betis close to landing Nabil Fekir
Le Parisien (h/t Football.london) reports that Nabil Fekir is close to joining Real Betis.
The World Cup winner was expected to join Liverpool last season but the deal could not be completed (h/t Football.london).
The Frenchman remained at Lyon last season and was one of their stars as they finished in the Champions League places.
The report adds that Arsenal were also linked with the midfielder, however, Betis seem to have won the race for the 25-year-old.
Fekir could be Lo Celso’s replacement

Tottenham have been in negotiations over the Argentine, and the Betis star wants to play under Mauricio Pochettino too (h/t Football.london).
The former PSG man had a great debut season with Betis and was a part of the Argentine team that participated in the Copa America.
Tottenham have signed two players in the summer window so far, and it will be interesting to see who else joins the club in the coming weeks.
