Spurs transfer news: Tottenham committed to signing Ryan Sessegnon

The Telegraph reports that Tottenham are committed to signing Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon.

The 19-year-old is one of the brightest talents in the English game but saw his side suffer relegation last season.

Sessegnon was inconsistent at Fulham and ended up playing under three managers in the span of 12 months.

The English youngster is versatile enough to play as a leftwinger or as a left-back, and the report claims that Tottenham see the 19-year-old as a long-term successor of Danny Rose.

Tottenham’s Rose was one of our better performers in the previous campaign and started in the Champions League final against Liverpool.

However, the Englishman hinted he could leave in the summer after claiming that Tottenham sell off players who reach a certain age.

Fulham need to sell Sessegnon soon

The report adds that Fulham have to sell Sessegnon in the summer, with the English youngster having just one year left on his current deal.

Sessegnon also prefers a move to Tottenham, according to the Telegraph, and hopefully, we can make him our third signing of the summer.

Tottenham could use someone of Sessegnon’s ability and the English youngster should grow under Mauricio Pochettino.

It will be interesting to see if Sessegnon plays as the left-back at Tottenham. His best performances came in the attacking positions, and we could use a quick and tricky winger in the team.
