Latest Spurs news: Fans upset with Rose’s performance in 2-2 Arsenal draw

Tottenham should have won the North London derby on Sunday after racing to a 2-0 lead.

Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane scored in the first half and we had other chances to extend the lead.

It was a great showing in the first half given that we struggled against Newcastle in our previous game, but all our hard work was undone in a few seconds.

Rose tries to be smart near his box

The Gunners were turning the screw in the dying moments of the first half and after a dangerous cross, Danny Rose got the ball just outside our penalty area.

Instead of smashing it into the other half or out of play, the left-back tried to nutmeg an Arsenal player but got caught out. The Gunners recovered possession and after some iffy moments, Alexandre Lacazette scored just before the half-time break.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang got the equaliser in the second half but we had our chances to get the winner later on.

Rose hasn’t been at his best this season and our defence has been caught out several times already.

The second goal should have been defended better too as we lost track of Aubameyang in the box. Many Tottenham fans weren’t happy with Rose’s error and shared their thoughts on Twitter.
