Tottenham could be dealt double blow as two summer signings are unlikely to face Leicester City

Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso unlikely to feature against Leicester City

Tottenham return to Premier League action with a tough trip to Leicester City.

Spurs were held to a 2-2 draw against Olympiakos in their opening Champions League group tie of the campaign.

Tottenham had a great result against Crystal Palace in the previous Premier League clash, and we need to play in a similar fashion at the weekend.

Spurs have had some injury concerns this season, with the likes of Juan Foyth and Kyle Walker-Peters missing from the team.

Tanguy Ndombele has also had his injury issues since joining in the summer, and it seems two of our summer signings are out of the clash at the weekend.

Injuries to two of our brightest youngsters

Giovani Lo Celso injured his hip during national duty and is expected to be out until October. The frustration with this injury is that it was picked up during a friendly game. The Argentine joined from Real Betis in the summer but hasn’t received a start.

Ryan Sessegnon’s problem is another issue given that he hasn’t played for the team. The former Fulham star picked up the hamstring injury while on U21 duty for his nation.

We need our players to remain fit as Tottenham don’t have the biggest squad in the league.

Last season saw the team being stretched due to several of our stars being injured for long spells and hopefully, we can avoid such a situation for the majority of this campaign.
