Manchester United interested in Lucas Moura and Eric Dier

The Daily Star claims that Manchester United are interested in “unsettled” Tottenham star Lucas Moura.

The Brazilian played a key role in our Champions League run last season but has struggled for regular starts since signing from Paris Saint-Germain.

The forward recently signed a new deal to remain with Spurs, however, the report claims that the Brazilian is high on United’s list of targets for the next year.

Moura has only started two of our Premier League games this season, but he was in the XI that drew 2-2 with Olympiakos in midweek.

The report adds that the lack of starts is a concern for Moura and Ole Gunner Solskjaer admires the Brazilian.

Midfielder also on United’s sights

Eric Dier has also struggled for regular starts under Mauricio Pochettino this season. The Englishman has had his injury problems and hasn’t featured for us in the current campaign.

The midfielder is a target for United in the January window and the Red Devils could swoop in as they seek a holding midfielder (h/t Daily Star).

Tottenham were unable to offload several players in the summer and it was interesting to see Victor Wanyama get minutes in the 2-1 loss to Leicester but Dier was left on the bench.

Our season hasn’t gone off well, and these rumours will only add to more speculation of things not being rosy under Mauricio Pochettino.
