Juventus will offload Tottenham target Paulo Dybala in January
Tottenham were linked with a move for Paulo Dybala in the summer, but they were unable to land the Argentine sensation (h/t Sky Sports).
The 25-year-old has struggled since Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival at Juventus and has only played 96 minutes of football for the Italian giants.
The Argentine has made just one start so far in this campaign, and Corriere dello Sport claims that Maurizio Sarri wants to offload the attacker in the January window (h/t Sky Sports).
The report adds that Manchester United were also keen on Dybala in the summer and Sarri doesn’t believe the Argentine can play in the same attack as Ronaldo.
Spurs to move for Dybala?
The Argentine would be an excellent signing for Spurs and provide us with more attacking options.
Our season hasn’t been the greatest with the defeat to Leicester the latest in a string of poor results.
Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen haven’t looked at their best while several of our attackers have been inconsistent after the first two games.
Dybala would be able to play in several positions in the final third and it will be interesting to see where he could end up.
The 25-year-old has a lot of talent and could do well in the Premier League, but there will be interest in the Argentine from other quarters too.
