Manchester United eye Mauricio Pochettino as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replacement
AS (h/t Express) claims that Manchester United are interested in Mauricio Pochettino to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Norwegian had a great start to his managerial career at Old Trafford but things haven’t been good in the last six months.
The Red Devils have managed just five wins from their last 17 games and recently lost to West Ham United 2-0.
The report adds that Pochettino was linked with the club after Jose Mourinho was sacked. Pochettino’s season hasn’t been great with us either, and Tottenham suffered a shock loss to Colchester United in the Carabao Cup.
Christian Eriksen missed one of the penalties in the shootout, and the report claims that the Dane could also move to Man United if Solskjaer is sacked.
The Dane wanted to join Real Madrid in the summer and is open to leaving Tottenham (h/t Express). United
Tough times for Tottenham
Eriksen and Pochettino are two of the best at their jobs, and losing them would be a huge blow to the team.
Things have been tough for us this season and Pochettino has to turn things around quickly. Pochettino recently signed a new deal at the club and is the right person to get us out of this rut.
