Christian Eriksen could join Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich are the latest European giants linked with Christian Eriksen, according to Sport 1 (h/t Calciomercato).

The Dane is a free agent at the end of the season and it is unlikely he will sign a new deal with Tottenham (h/t Calciomercato).

The 27-year-old has struggled for form this season but is regarded as one of the most creative players in the Premier League.

Tottenham’s form hasn’t been all that great this season and they have several stars on the final year of their deals.

Eriksen has been linked with Real Madrid, Juventus and Inter Milan but he could snub all of them (h/t Calciomercato).

The report claims that the Dane is ready to join Bayern and reject the advances of the others.

Bayern already have some great attacking midfielders in their side and recently signed Philippe Coutinho on loan.

However, the Germans have some ageing players like Thomas Muller, and it will be interesting to see where the midfielder fits into the scheme of things at Bayern.

A plethora of options for Eriksen

All four clubs have their own pros and cons should Eriksen join them, but Juventus and Bayern are the most likely to win titles in their respective leagues.

The Dane could add a lot of quality to the midfield of any team in the world, and it is a blow that he seems set to leave on a free.

Tottenham should not have been in this situation with Eriksen’s contract and we could still sell him in January.
