Christian Eriksen turns down contract offer from Tottenham
Christian Eriksen seems set to leave Tottenham after he rejected a 50% pay increase on his current deal, according to AS (h/t Daily Star).
The Dane is a free agent at the end of the season and Spurs have attempted to keep him at the club.
Eriksen isn’t the only player on the final year of his contract, with Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen too in the same boat.
The report claims that Eriksen earns €4m per season afte
The new deal would have put Eriksen on the same pay scale as Dele Alli and Hugo Lloris, however, the Dane would still earn less than Kane (h/t Daily Star).

Eriksen can negotiate with foreign clubs in January and move on a free transfer at the end of the season. The 27-year-old hasn’t been at his best but Spurs have also struggled this campaign.
